The Thin Man through a pretty spectacular Steam Punk themed New Years party. Frieda and I are pretty into costume fabrication, so we jumped at the opportunity to build some victorian era weapons and accessories. I had this strange future metropolis set I'd been meaning to shoot subjects in front of, but wrangling the right models and the wardrobes was becoming difficult so I then thought, just bring the set to the party and shoot there. So that's what I did and it couldn't have worked out better! Thanks Gio, Carmela, Eric, all the staff at St Marx, the Thin Man, and all of my wonderfully attired subjects allowing me to photograph them.



















This gentlemen was a professional costume designer and you could tell because his costume had some amazing craftsmanship. Allthough their were tons of amazing costumes his might just have been the best...





















































I am a bit biased since she's my wife but this may be my favorite one.
